2021 Honda CB400F and CB400X officially revealed at the Auto Shanghai event in China, with few design tweaks.

Japanese two-wheeler manufacturer has revealed its 2021 version of CB400F and CB400X, with few design tweaks, at the ongoing Auto Shanghai event in China. The CB400F features the same design elements as in CB500F, with the newly designed Headlamp cluster. Other than that, CB400F features Split seats, a muscular fuel tank, integrated aerodynamic ducts at the fuel tank, and a tail section along flat handlebars and center set footsteps. The motorcycle has a Kerb weight of 188 Kg, while it measures 1416 mm long wheelbase.
While Both the bikes go on sale in the Chinese automobile market through the CKD route via Wuyang Honda. Honda CB400X features similar features as in CB500X. the design elements are quite similar to the bikes but with a different headlamp cluster. The muscular fuel tank, single-seat, adjustable windshield, and so on, are the same giving the bike an adventure tourer looks. The CB400X has a Kerb weight of 195 Kg, which is larger than CB400F, although the wheelbase remains the same for both bikes. The CB400X offered a 2-variant option – Standard and Touring, while the latter one gets a few adventure equipment’s like, crash guard, panniers, top box, etc.
Both the bikes CB400F and CB400X powered with the same 399cc twin-parallel liquid-cooled mill, which is capable of developing maximum power of 44.87 PS and peak torque of 37 Nm. The powertrain comes paired with a 6-speed gearbox system. The bikes ride on 17-inch alloy wheels with 120/70tyres section at the front and a 160/60 tire section at the rear wheel. Both get the fully digital instrument cluster. No official statement has been made about the bikes coming into the Indian market, while the CB500X already on sale in India at Rs 6.87 lakh ex-showroom. Also, it is highly unlikely that the manufacturer could bring CB400F in India, but Honda launches CB500F in India.
