2021 Honda CBR650R and CB650R launched-priced at Rs 8.67 lakh

2021 Honda CBR650R and CB650R launched in the domestic market, price starting from Rs 8.67 lakh ex-showroom.

Honda Motorcycle and Scooter India have announced the launch of their 650-cc lineup bike CBR650R and CB650R neo sport café for the first time in the Indian market. The Bike is launched with the starting price of Rs 8.67 lakh for CB650R and Rs 8.88 lakh for CBR650R. The bike is retailed at the brand Bigwig dealerships across India. While the bike brought into the country through the CKD route, which makes pricing a little higher compared with global markets.

Bookings for the bikes have been commenced throughout the Bigwig dealerships across India. Both the bikes based on twin-tube type frame, the 2021 comes with a compact Trapezoid short proportion, thick tail and overhanging headlight alongside a large fuel tank with smooth lines. The 2021 CBR650R features, dual headlamp cluster, new reflector profile, revised body panels, compact seat, steel rear mudguard, rear seat footpegs, and so on.

As for the performance, the 2021 CBR650R and CB650R Neo sports café both powered with a 649-cc inline four-cylinder DOHC 16V, motor, which develops a maximum power output of 86 HP at 12,000 Rpm and 57.5 Nm of peak torque at 8,500 Rpm. Both the bikes get a sipper clutch as standard. The braking handled by dual radial-mount four-piston brake calipers and floating dual discs on the front and rear wheel with a dual-channel ABS system. As for safety the bike comes equipped with, emergency stop signal, a Honda Ignition security system (HISS), and Honda selective torque control system. Other highlights of the bikes are, an LED taillight, LCD Cluster, circular headlamps with blue-tinted in the CBR650R, taillight tucked above the number plate, a digital cluster that shows, Rpm, range, speed, gear position, dual trip meter, digital fuel level gauge and so on.
