Honda Motorcycle and Scooter India have announced the launch of their BS6 compliant version of Gold Wing in our domestic market. 2021 Honda Gold Wing priced from Rs 37.20 lakh for the manual variant and Rs 39.16 lakh for the DCT+Airbags variant (All prices are ex-showroom, Pan India). The motorcycle will be brought through the CBU route from Japan. The new BS6 compliant version comes with a host of changes and updates in the motorcycle.
The Bookings for the BS6 Gold Wing has been commenced at the brand’s premium dealership Big Wing across the Indian market. The bike comprises plenty of features and electronic aids with it like a 7-inch TFT instrument cluster enabled with android auto and apple car play, gyrocompass navigation, all LED lighting, electronically adjustable windscreen, a 21-liter fuel tank, luggage panniers, and a new 55W audio system. The safety list includes Airbags, ABS, traction control, a Dual combined braking system, and Hill-start assist.
The 2021 Honda Gold Wing comes powered by a 1,833 cc liquid-cooled flat-six engine, which belts out 124.6 PS of maximum power at 5,500 Rpm and 170 Nm of peak torque at 4,500 Rpm. The powertrain comes paired with multiple gearbox systems, a 6-speed manual transmission, and a 7-Speed DCT automatic transmission system. The motorcycle also gets a throttle by wire system, along with four riding modes Tour, Sport, Econ, and Rain. On the DCT gearbox, it gets an idle Start/Stops function for better fuel economy. The braking is handled by a twin 320mm disc at the front and a single 316mm disc at the rear.
