SYM Jet X 150 launched in the Malaysian market, a few weeks ago it was showcased in media preview in the country. The Jet X Scooter is available in two variants – standard edition and special edition, former priced at RM8,888 and later priced at RM9,188 ex-showroom respectively. The scooter features a very interested design sporty body panel, busy front look, and sharp tail section. The scooter boasts all LED lightning around from front to back, with an LCD instrument cluster with a negative display, which shows odometer, trip meter, navigation, speed, fuel gauge, and much more.

The LED lighting adds up a premium touch to the maxi-scooter and helps it look more attractive to the buyers. SYM offered Jet X 150 with three color options – yellow, red, and grey. The scooter rides on pair of conventional telescopic front forks along with dual shockers at the rear. Braking is handled by a 260 mm disc at the front and a 220 mm disc brake at the rear wheel. While Single channel ABS system is in talk and will add to the scooter in near-future generations of facelifts. the scooter boasts with keyless ignition and USB port along with 18 liters of under-seat storage.

2021 SYM Jet X 150 comes powered by a 149-cc single-cylinder liquid-cooled Euro4 emission norms motor, which belts out 12.3 HP of maximum power output at 8,000 Rpm and 12 Nm of peak torque at 6,000 Rpm the powertrain coupled through CVT along with belt final drive. The scooter rides on 14-inch alloy wheels with a 100/90 tire section at the front and a 110/80 tire section at the rear wheel. The seat is a single-piece with a stepped-up design, with an easily accessible height of 780mm. Upon the launch, the Scooter rivals Yamaha NMax 155, Yamaha NVX 155, Honda Vario, Honda PCX 1555, and Vespa sprint 150.
