Bajaj Auto India has announced their sales monthly data for the month may 2021, in which the brand registered 113 percent positive sales growth.

Bajaj Auto India announced the sales monthly data for the month of May 2021, in which the brand registered a cumulative sales tally of 2,40,554 unit included exports also against 1,12,798 units during the same month last year, getting 113 percent positive sales growth on a YOY basis. Although, for domestic tally it dispatched 60,342 units last month against 39,286 units during the corresponding month last year, getting a massive sales growth of 54 percent on a YOY basis. That being said, it is due to the bad market scenario last year and this year also, due to health crisis and financial crisis the sales figures are badly affected.
However, Bajaj Auto India manages to post some positive sales last month. While, on the export side the homegrown manufacturer posted the dominant sales number, as it posted 1,80,212 units in May 2021, against 73,512 units during the same corresponding month last year, with getting 145 percent of positive sales growth on a YOY basis. Although, the brand saw a decline in its commercial vehicles, as 488 units were registered against 788 units in May 2020. The manufacturer exported 30,820 units of CVs last month against 13,542 units in May 2020., getting a massive positive sale growth of 128 percent on a YOY basis.
As a combined sale figure of the brand including two-wheeler and commercial vehicles led to a cumulative figure of 2,71,862 unit’s agonist 1,27,128 units, while as compared on a year-on-year basis it gets 114 percent positive sales surge. Domestically Bajaj Auto dispatched 60,830 units against 40,074 units in May 2020 with a 52 percent sales surge, however, the exports stood at 2,11,032 units as against 87,054 units, finishing the month with 142 percent positive sales growth. As a whole, the combined sales numbers of export, two-wheeler, and CVs in April and May 2021 stood at 6,59,878 units as against 1,65,006 units in the same corresponding month last year, with 300 percent positive sales growth.
