Bajaj Auto Motors India has announced the launch of their Pulsar NS Series 125 engine. The Pulsar NS 125 placed at the bottom of the NS Series below NS 160 and NS 200. The Pulsar NS 125 is priced at Rs 93,690 ex-showroom. Targeting the bike enthusiasts with low-budget issues, as the manufacturer aims at offering the sporty characteristics the naked streetfighter range is renowned for. The new edition will join the only Pulsar 125cc as the only other 125cc offering from the Pulsar Series. Also, the brand claims to put more first in the segment features.
Bajaj offers the bike with four paint schemes namely as, Beach Blue, Fiery orange, burnt red, and pewter grey, while the last two colors were already on offer for NS Series. The New NS 125 features a glossy Metallic paint, Sleek Headlamp cluster, twin strip LED tail lights, Split grab rails, and so on. On the other hand, following the recent price hiked of Rs 8,812 on KTM 125 it costs Rs 1.60 lakhs, which as compared with Pulsar NS 125 costs Rs 66,000 more. Bajaj also said the perimeter frame offers high stiffness and low flex for the Sharp handling experience for the riders.
As for performance the Pulsar NS 125 powered with a BS6 124.4cc Single cylinder DTS-I engine, which is capable of delivering a maximum power output of 12 PS and peak torque of 11 Nm which is higher as compared with regular Pulsar 125. The powertrain comes paired with a standard 5-speed transmission system gearbox system. Pulsar NS 125 rides on telescopic front forks suspension and mono-shock rear suspension system.
