Brooklyn USA-based two-wheeler start-up tarform has recently unveiled a new electric motorcycle Luna cafe racer.

Tarform, electric mobility starts up from Brooklyn USA has unveiled a new electric motorcycle. This new model is a café racer version of the Luna, and features the same powertrain as in the Luna Scrambler’s version model and shares the underpinnings with the same original Luna. Production of Luna motorcycle with beginning later this year. Although, the styling in both the bikes is different from one another but features almost the same equipment like headlamps, platforms, and much more. However, the Scrambler version gets a chunky tire and the Café Racer gets a regular street tire.
Tarform has now two Luna Bikes in its portfolio – café racer and Scrambler model. Both will be priced from USD 24,000 to around Rs 17 lakh. The new café racer has the same specifications as the scrambler model. Although, the basic difference Is style and the Café racer version has a firmer suspension lowered 1.5 inches. Although, the new café racer gets a cowl headlamp, which looks sleek while the rest of the hand-formed aluminum body remains the same. The Luna Café racer gets the same single-piece handlebar machined metal same as the Scrambler model.
The Tarform Luna Café Racer comes powered by the same Luna Scramblers model. It uses 55 HP of electric motor mated with 11.8 KWh battery pack, along with 200 Kg curb weight same as a scrambler. The Tarform claims that the motorcycle can run 193 km in a single charge in the city or nearly 96 Km on a highway, depending on riding modes. The Motorcycle features three riding modes and also loaded with a sound generator called sonic Aura, which alerts the pedestrians and other road users of Luna’s presence.
