Ducati Scrambler Desert fasthouse Edition launched–Limited to 800 units

Ducati Scrambler Desert Sled Fasthouse edition has been unveiled and limited to 800 units only, priced from 10,295 Euro converted (Rs 10.42 lakh).

Ducati unveiled Scrambler 800 Desert Sled last year in November and keeping a simple goal in mind – to be able to off-road without any hassle. Now Ducati has added a limited-Edition version to the Scrambler range – Scrambler Desert Sled Fasthouse. After the victory of Jordan Graham in Mint 400 in the new Hooligan open “off-road” race, Ducati and Fasthouse came together again to build a limited-edition version for the Scrambler lineup, and only limited to only 800 units of these will ever make. The popularity of off-roading bikes has been continuously increasing in the global markets. Kenny Alexander the founder of Fasthouse, wanted to build a machine capable of the same, hence made scrambler 800 Desert Sled Fasthouse.

The limited special edition Scrambler features the same paint scheme as in the race peppered that score the Mint 400 victory. It features black and grey paint with a red frame, along with a Fasthouse logo on the tank and an anti-slip coating on the saddle. Each model gets a number plate attached to the frame of the bike. The motorcycle rides on the same motor as well as cycle parts, 46 mm fully adjustable USD front fork, Kayaba rear shock absorber. It also features a fully digital monochrome LCD cluster and wire-spoked wheels. The Bike rides on a 19-inch tire at the front and a 17-inch tire at the rear and the braking is handled by a 330 mm disc at the front wheel and a 245 mm disc at the rear, with Bosch cornering ABS as standard with knobbly tires.

The bikes continue to power with the same 803 ccs, air-cooled L-twin motor capable enough to generate a maximum power of 73 HP at 8,250 Rpm and a maximum torque of 66.2 Nm at 5,750 Rpm. The transmission is handling by a 6-speed sequential gearbox and a hydraulically control slipper clutch is offered as standard.
