Hero Destini 125 Platinum Edition launched in India – Priced at Rs 72,050

Hero Motor-Corp has announced the launch of the Platinum Edition of Destini 125, with no mechanical changes have been made throughout. Major changes are done in the design elements and features. Besides this follows the launch of the 100 Million Edition across the Indian market line-ups, as one of the largest two-wheeler manufacturer Hero celebrates their 10-crore cumulative production Milestone.  The Scooter features a host of updates and changes to its design and adds new features as well, to differentiate it from its regular model. It is retailed at brand dealerships across India, at a price of Rs 72,050 ex-showroom, New Delhi.

Speaking on the occasion of the launch, Malo Le Masson, Head of Strategy and global product Planning Hero-MotoCorp, said, Destini 125 is the key player in the 125 segments and a lot of customer recognition. With the new Platinum Edition, we are adding a new elegant option to the Destini portfolio. Based on the overwhelming response for pleasure+, we are sure that Platinum edition will be loved by customers as well”. The Designing elements of the Scooter adds, LED guide lamp, new badging, new matte black color, Sheet metal body with black and Chrome theme, white rim tape around black alloy, chromed rearview mirror, chrome lining on side panels, and heat shielded exhaust system.

Hero Destini 125 Platinum Edition continued to power with the same, 125 ccs single-cylinder BS6 fuel-injected engine, which is capable enough to generate 9 BHP of power at 7,000 Rpm, and 10.4 Nm of torque at 5500 Rpm, along with Idle 3S Smart Start/Stop technology for better fuel efficiency. Other notable changes to Destini 125 are, 3D logo platinum badging, Coloured seats with platinum Hot Stamping on it, chrome handlebar, as does on the fender stripe giving a retro appeal to it.
