Hero HF 100 Entry-Level bike launched – Priced at Rs 49,400

Hero HF 100 entry-level bike launched, with price starting from Rs 49,400. HF 100 becomes the most affordable bike from the Hero two-wheeler line-up.

Hero Motor Corp has announced the launch of HF 100 and added it into the Two-wheeler Commuter Indian line-up. The Hero HF 100 launched with a price tag of Rs 49,400 ex-showroom, making it the most affordable bike from the Hero’s brand. The HF 100 shares its design elements and engine with HF Deluxe with some cost-cutting on features, to make it one of the most affordable Commuters in the Indian market. Hero HF 100 offers 18-inch alloy wheels, tubeless tires, but misses out on the electric start features. The braking is done by 130 mm drum brakes on both the wheels, with blacked-out handlebar and pillion grab rail is also blacked as seen in HF Deluxe.

Hero HF 100 doesn’t have a lot of features on offer but the bike is the Value for money offering from the brand. The HF 100 has an 805 mm height, 165 mm of ground clearance, and Kerb weight of 110 Kg, which is 1 kg heavier than the HF Deluxe. The Hero HF 100 upon arrival rivals with Bajaj CT 100, priced at Rs 44,890 ex-showroom New Delhi which undercuts HF 100 price by Rs 5,000. In recent times the two-wheeler manufacturer has increased their bike cost many times, due to an increase in the price of raw material and transportation. With the launch of new affordable bikes, the brand also providing some relief in the price for their entry-level bikes line-up in India.

Hero HF 100 comes powered with a 97.2 cc single-cylinder air-cooled engine motor which also used in HF Deluxe. The engine is capable of generating 8.02 PS of maximum power and 8.05 Nm of peak torque and comes paired with a 4-speed transmission gearbox system. The bike has a fuel capacity of 9.1 Litres which is 0.5 Litre lower than what we get in HF Deluxe. The Hero HF Series is the second most popular motorcycle series from Hero, the first is Hero Splendor series, that surge the more sales volume for the brands in term of sale. With the launch of HF 100, the manufacturer hopes to boost its sales in the commuter segment bikes.
