Hero Moto-Corp record highest ever sales on last month: 8 lakhs+ units

Hero moto-Corp biggest two-wheeler manufacturer in the Indian market records their highest ever monthly sales to date, with more than 8 lakhs+ units were sold in October 2020.

Hero Moto-Corp registered a total of 8,06,848 units sold in October 2020 month, which is to date highest monthly sales by the brand in a single month in the history of  Hero Moto-Corp. As a result, Hero moto-Corp gained double-digit positive growth in sales units compared with the same period last year, where the hero sold 5,99,248 units. With the 8 lakhs+ units sold hero gained 35 percent positive sales growth which is quite impressive. The company managing director said that this positive growth turnaround, is due to the festive season with a great logistics, supply chain and business have helped in achieving this milestone.

Hero Moto-Corp also mentioned a total of 31,84,779 units were sold to date in this financial year, which helps hero’s share price increased by 15 percent. Last month more than 74,350 scooter units were sold as during the same period in 2019, 46,576 scooter units were sold. To date, Hero Moto-Corp’s domestic cumulative scooter sales stood at 2,45,246 units. In October Hero exported more than 15,000 units as against in same period last year 2019 hero exported units were 12,260, as seen here is a positive growth in every segment of two-wheeler for Hero Moto-Corp.

 A few weeks ago, Hero announced the partnership with Harley-Davidson in India, as it will be now responsible for selling and servicing the HD premium motorcycles while retailing accessories and parts in the distribution agreement. For Hero, they will develop and retail premium motorcycles under the brand name of Harley Davidson, under the sealed license agreement. Last month hero launched the maestro edge 125cc stealth priced at Rs 72,950 and glamour special edition glamour blaze which is priced at Rs 72,200. Hero also launched their Splendor + black and accent with a price starting from Rs  64,640, and the newly launched platinum pleasure+ comes with a price tag of Rs 60,950 (All prices are ex-showroom, Delhi).
