Hero MotoCorp Sales Analysis April 2021 – Splendor, passion

Hero MotoCorp released its sales numbers for April 2021 and dispatched 3.42 lakh units in the domestic market.

  • Hero MotoCorp dispatched total 3,72,285 units last month
  • Out of the total number of units 3,39,614 units Were bike and 32,956 units were Scooters
  • Hero MotoCorp recently launched its virtual showroom and currently has nine models

India’s largest two-wheeler manufacturer has released its sales figures for April 2021. The brand sales stood at 3,72,285-unit last month as 5,76,957 units were sold in march 2021 with getting 35.47 percent negative sales growth on a MOM basis. Back in April 2020, the Indian market was in complete lockdown, and manufacturing, dispatch has been totally shut down during the corresponding month. That being said there is no sales comparison on a YOY basis. Even now after a long year, the second wave has struck India many manufacturers forced to shut down their plants and dealerships.

Out of the Total two-wheelers sold in April 2021, 3,39,614 units were bikes and 32,956 units were scooters. While the domestic sales stood at 3,42,614 units as against 5,44,340 units were sold in March 2021, with getting 37.06 percent decline in sales in terms of MOM. Export figures stand at 29,671 units against 32,617 units in the same month corresponding to last year, with getting 9.03 percent sales to decline on a Month-on-month basis. While, as for this month Hero MotoCorp has decided to shut down the production plant for the safety of their workers.

Hero’s GPC in Neemrana and the center of innovation has been closed till 9th May 2021, and likely to further extend due to an increase in the case of numbers day by day. Recently, Hero launched a virtual showroom In India, customers can have access through their official website. The virtual showroom currently has only nine models – Xpulse 200, Xtreme 200S, Xtreme 160R, Maestro Edge 125, Maestro Edge 110, Destini 125, Pleasure plus, passion pro, and Splendor plus. Along, buyers can configure or customize their bikes or scooters before bookings, depending on available accessories.
