HONDA LAUNCHES “REPSOL EDITION” OF HONDA HORNET 2.0 AND HONDA DIO

Honda motorcycle and scooter India limited has launched a limited “Repsol edition” variant for recently launched Honda hornet 2.0 and Honda Dio.

Honda the Japanese brand recently became the first-ever motorcycle manufacturer to be victorious at the 800 Grand Prix, and these limited-edition variants showcased the genes of the Repsol Honda-Moto GP-inspired livery hence these variant’s names as the “Repsol Edition” limited edition for Hornet 2.0 and Dio. Apart from the updates on their graphics and style both hornet 2.0 and Dio get bright-looking orange alloy wheels which by the looks looking amazing and sporty and definitely going to attract the young motorcycle enthusiasts’ buyers.

As for their powertrain options, “Repsol edition” comes with the same engine. Honda hornet 2.0 powered by a 184cc air-cooled single-cylinder engine, which produces 17.26 PS of total power and 16.1 Nm of peak torque when mated with standard 5-speed gearbox transmission option. The motorcycle includes premium features like a Full LED lightening system, Dual disc brakes, USD front forks, preload-adjustable rear mono-shock, single-channel ABS, and a hazards light.

The Honda Dio Repsol edition has the same engine of 109.51cc air-cooled single-cylinder, produces 7.76 PS of total power and 7 Nm of peak torque, comes mated with continuous variable transmission option (CVT).  Honda Dio features include a start/stop switch, drum brakes, pass-light switch, telescopic front forks, external fuel filler, and a side stand with an engine cut-off tech.

The Honda retail Hornet 2.0 Repsol edition at Rs 1.28 lakh, and Honda Dio Repsol edition for Rs 69,757 lakh (ex-showroom price). Honda Hornet 2.0 Rivals with bikes like bajaj pulsar NS200, TVS Apache RTR 200 4V, Yamaha MT-15, and more in their segment.
