Top 5 Most affordable bikes in the domestic market [March 2021]

In recent times automobile prices have been increasing steadily throughout the year due to many reasons, raw material viability, steel, semiconductor shortages, global crisis, and so on. The prices have been increasing for both four-wheelers as well for two-wheelers. Thankfully, there have been still few options available out for buyers on a tight budget, mainly in the bikes market. Here we put together the Top 5 Most affordable bikes in the domestic market for buyers; –

  • Bajaj CT100

Starting the Top 5 affordable bikes list with, Bajaj CT100, which is currently offered in two variants – Kick Start and electric Start. The former variant priced at Rs 47,654 and the latter priced at Rs 51,802 ex-showroom respectively. Both the variants BS6 and facelift versions been launched just a few months ago. The bike comes powered with a 102-cc single-cylinder engine, that develops 7.9 PS of maximum power and 8.34 Nm of peak torque. The engine is mated with a 4-speed gearbox transmission system.

  • Hero HF Deluxe

The second-place held in the Top 5 affordable bikes list by Hero HF Deluxe, is currently the most affordable two-wheeler in Hero’s domestic line-up. It is currently offered in four variants, Kick Start with Spoke wheels, Kick Start with alloy wheels, self-start, and self-start with i3S technology. The price for the bike ranges from Rs 50,200 for the kick start with spoke wheels and goes up to Rs 61,225 for Self-Start with i3S technology (Ex-showroom). The comes powered with a 97.2 cc single-cylinder motor which develops 8.02 PS of power and 8.05 Nm of torque and comes paired with the 4-speed gearbox transmission system.

Hero HF Deluxe
  • Bajaj Platina 100

Bajaj Platina is a slightly upmarket version of CT100, with a stylish graphic design and few added advanced features. It is offered in three variants, kick start, electric start, and electric start with front disc. The electric start with the front disc been added to the line-up just last month. The bike price ranges between Rs 52,166 to Rs 63,578 ex-showroom respectively. It is offered with a 102-cc single-cylinder motor which generates 7.9 PS of power and 8.3 Nm of torque when mated with a 4-speed standard gearbox system.

  • TVS Sport

Similar to the Bajaj CT100, TVS Sport also offered in two variants – kick start and electric start. The kick start priced at Rs 56,100 and the electric start priced at Rs 62,950 ex-showroom respectively. The bike powered with a 109.7 cc single-cylinder motor which belts out 8.29 PS of power and 8.7 Nm of torque. The engine comes mated with a 4-speed gearbox system.

Honda CD 110 Dream is currently the most affordable Japanese manufacturer bike in the Indian line-up. It is offered in two variants – Standard and Deluxe, while the main difference between the two is paint Schemes. The bike is priced between Rs 64,508 for Standard and Rs 65,508 for Deluxe. The bike draws power from a 109.51 cc single-cylinder motor which generates 8.79 PS of power and 9.30 Nm of torque, and the powertrain mated with a 4-speed gearbox transmission system.
