2021 TVS Apache RTR 200 4V gets riding modes with the Single Channel ABS variant launched in the domestic market.

TVS Motors India has launched the Apache RTR 200 4V Single Channel ABS version with various riding modes in the domestic market. Before this first in class, the driving modes were available in the Dual-Channel ABS version of Apache RTR 200 4V. Along with the modes, it also gets the addition of an adjustable front suspension system and adjustable levers in the Single ABS version. The Bike also gets three different modes – Sport, urban, and rain, which are offered with the same Dual Channel ABS version. In Sport mode, the bike belts out maximum power and torque, perfect for the race tracks, and the ABS involvement is quite low. In sport mode, the system offers the highest permissible Slip percentage.
In urban Mode, the output power is according to the City traffic, and the ABS is optimized for a well fast response. Lastly, the Rain mode in this ABS interference is maximum, it suited for wet climates and slippery roads. In this mode, it helps the rider to have maximum traction so that Rider does not lose control on Slippery roads and Streets. In the addition to the riding modes to Apache RTR 200 4V, the brand enhances the riding experience and safety factor of the Bike. Along with these updates, the Bike equipped with features like a Fully Digital instrument cluster, LED headlamps, LED DRLs, LED taillights, Bluetooth enables Smart Xonnect connected technology, and so on. The Bike also features a GTT feature, which allows riders to ride bumper-to-bumper traffic with only clutch articulation without any throttle input, which also enhances the fuel economy.
The Engine uses the same old 197.7 cc air/oil-cooled single-cylinder unit, which develops a maximum power output of 20.82 PS and a peak torque of 17.25 Nm at Sport Mode. In Urban and rain mode it generates limited power of 17.32 PS and 16.51 Nm of torque when mated with a standard 5-speed sequential gearbox system, and an optional race-tuned slipper clutch as well. TVS Apache RTR 200 4V Single ABS priced at Rs 1.28 Lakh (ex-showroom, New Delhi). Three colors are offered – Gloss black. Pearl White and Matte Blue. The Matte Blue color inspired by the TVS OMC racing motorcycle.
