2021 Honda HR-V real life images revealed

The new generation Honda HR-V made its first global appearance last month with many new features, upgrades and cosmetic changes from the previous version. Soon the 2021 Honda HR-V will be going on sale in its home country Japan. And will also be launched in India at a much later time this year.

The new 2021 Honda HR-V is also known as Honda Vezel in Japan, and it also comes with many exterior cosmetic upgrades like a new LED headlamp integrated with a new LED DRL setup, a large blacked-out grille with a chrome line on top and Honda’s signature ‘H’ logo at the centre, C-Pillar integrated door handle for the rear, a roof mounted rear spoiler and a wrapped around taillight with Honda logo separation in between.

For the interior the car gets some interesting features like – a large 10.1 inch floating touchscreen infotainment system with Android Auto, Apple CarPlay and Honda car connect, a 7-inch fully digital instrument cluster, ventilated front seats, automatic climate control, a huge panoramic sunroof, wireless smartphone charging, and hands free tailgate.

 Now coming at the safety features the comprises of 6-airbags, collision mitigation with auto emergency braking, adaptive cruise control, lane hold assist, hill descent control, blind-spot monitoring, cornering light, pedestrian detection and avoidance and many more.

The new 2021 Honda HR-V will be available in a total of 2 variants fist being the standard petrol variant which will draw power from a 1.5 litre petrol engine which will provide a power output of 121 PS and will be coupled with a CVT gearbox. And second, being the Hybrid engine which will be powered by a 1.5 litre engine along with a Li-ion battery and will be available in 3 mode – the normal petrol-powered mode, the Hybrid mode and the pure battery mode, this engine will be transmitting power by a 2 motor setup.
