TATA motors have recently added its new variant XM+ in the Altroz family that sits between the XM and XT trims, as so the price which is Rs. 6.6 lakh that lies between price range of Rs 6.3 – 6.9 lakh of the XM and XT.
What addition does it brings to the former XM variant?
In addition to the regular XM features it brings a 7-inch touchscreen infotainment system with botch android and apple support, 16-inch steel rims and voice command recognition these are some major features included and some more small changes.
Although providing quite a few additions to the new trim the car still comes in the regular colors – high street gold, downtown red, avenue white and midtown grey.
Does the Altroz XM+ differ to others in under the hood specs?
The Altroz XM+ comes in the same variant as the other which is the 1.2 litre petrol engine with 5 speed transition gearbox that can produce upto 85ps and 113Nm of torque, but the interesting thing t know here is the XM+ variant unlike others only come in petrol variant which is a downside for all the diesel car lovers.
Price of the new XM+ compared to XM and the special offers.
The new Altroz XM+ differs from the XM trim by just Rs 30000 which may fell like the better deal but now TATA is offering 2 major offers for the XM trim namely Style and Rhythm.
The Style package costs an additional Rs 34000 to the XM trim which adds some features that are even missing from the XM+ trim. These features include a contrast black roof, body colored ORVMs, front and rear fog lamps and 16-inch steel wheels.
Similar to this is the Rhythm package that costs an additional of Rs 39000 in the XM trim and ads two new features like the 7-inch touchscreen and reserve parking assist camera, the later remains absent in the new XM+ trim.
These additional packages makes the choice for the customers quite confusing as not all the features are present in a single trim which makes the buyer lean towards the other higher trims.
