Last year at the 2020 Auto Expo, the brand has unveiled its upcoming off-roader SUV second-generation Gurkha. Since then the SUV test mules have been spied on roads many times. The SUV will compete against Mahindra’s new generation Thar which was launched late last year, and it’s been received well by the customers as well. Force’s Second-generation Gurkha set to hit the showrooms in the second half of this year itself. Although, the set of leaked images online revealed all the details about the SUV ahead of its official launch in the coming month.
As in the display prototype, the new generation Gurkha in the images wears an orange body paint scheme, along with a host of exterior and interior changes. These are the brochure images been leaked online. The new tag line is also seen in the images stating “A Loooong and bumpy week should End here” and “Choose your adventure”. Although, the exterior features a newly designed bumper, LED headlamps, redesigned grille, new rear bumper, rounded shaped LED DRLs, flat bonnet, upright pillars, 16-inch alloy wheels, LED taillights in vertical along with LED indicators.
Other notable highlights are new fog lamps, tow hook, high mounted stop lamps, spare wheel mounted tailgate, and so on. Although in the interior cabin it gets a newly designed dashboard, center console, blacked theme circular Air conditioner, 3-spoke steering wheel, new touchscreen infotainment system, and so on. As for performance the SUV comes powered with a sole 2.6 Litre BS6 compliant oil burner, which belts out 89 HP of maximum power output delivering power to All four wheels. The powertrain comes coupled with a 5-speed manual transmission gearbox system.
