Mitsubishi is yet to announce the launch of the Mitsubishi Outlander 2021 version and the car has been caught on camera at a photoshoot before the launch. The new forth generation Mitsubishi outlander is all set to make its debut sometime next year. Although, the spied shots are not of the best quality, but some major changes can be spotted easily.
The spied shot closely resembles the car showcased at the Geneva motor show in 2019 the car was named Engelberg Tourer.
Design and features
the designing of the car looks very similar to the previously spied prototype model of the car. The front of the car gets a newly tweaked frontal features with the signature featured split headlamps which has gotten a lot sleeker and edgier, a slightly tweaked grille and new designed front indicators. For the sides the car gets more profound running lines through the handle and lower gates. The car also gets a partially black D pillar inspired by Nissan that give the car a floating look. The new Mitsubishi Outlander also gets smaller looking side windows that gets even smaller at the rear quarter window.
The new forth gen Mitsubishi Outlander is expected to come with a 2.5-litre four-cylinder petrol engine that would be capable of producing up to 183bhp of power and 245Nm of optimum torque, coupled with a CVT automatic gearbox. For the current version of the Outlander comes with a 2.4-litre MIVEC four-cylinder petrol engine that can generate up to 168bhp of power and torque of 222Nm, coupled with 6-speed CVT automatic gearbox. The current version also comes with two motors attached one on each axel. The front motor adds up to 80bhp of power and the rear can add up 95bhp of power to the total output.
The interior of the car is still not know and the car is expected to be launched till the third quarter of next year.
