2021 Nissan Note E-power gets the new generation of E technology that gives higher effectiveness, more power, and more fuel economy

Nissan has announced the launch of New Note E-power second-generation technology in the Singapore market. It is currently offered in 2 different variants named Lite and premium, while it is priced at S$99,800 (Rs 54.40 lakh) for the former variant and S$102,800(Rs 56.04 lakh) for the latter variant respectively. The Japanese manufacturer has greater hopes for Note E-power as it brings more benefits to the table compared with regular gasoline and electric engine models. Currently, in its second generation of E-power technology, it features, 1.2 Litre 3-cylinder petrol engine that works as a generator to charge the battery pack, therefore eliminating the need for the external charger to charge up the battery pack like in a conventional Electric vehicle.
The New Note E-power is more efficient as it works in lower Rpm and less dependency on the road conditions. The new generation engine is tuned up and the brand claimed that the newer version will deliver more fuel economy along with more power output, but the numbers haven’t been officially revealed till now. Along, with a tuned-up engine it has, an inverter that is 40 percent smaller and 30 percent lighter compared with the previous generation and a new electric motor unit capable of producing 10 percent more torque, but these are the claims made by the brand exact figures were not revealed yet. The electric motor generates 115 PS of maximum power and 280 Nm of peak torque – an increment of 6 PS and 26 Nm compared with the previous unit.
The entry-level Lite Note E-power variant comprises features like zero-gravity front seats, 7-inch TFT instrument cluster, 9-inch infotainment supports android auto and apple car play, LED headlights, LED DRLs, LED taillights, Auto Climate Control, fabric seats, one pedal acceleration, and deacceleration through regenerative braking energy technology and so on. On the other hand, in addition to Lite variant premium features, black Nappa leather upholstery, 16-inch alloy wheels. 2021 Nissan Note E-power offered in 11 color paint schemes and packed to safety features like reverse parking camera, parking sensors, lane departure warning, forward collision warning, seven airbags, autonomous braking system, etc.
