The Porsche Panamera facelift version has finally launched in the Indian market. The Top variant Panamera turbo S E-hybrid will be costing Rs 2.43 crore. Porsche redefined the looks of the styling of facelifted Panamera. 2021 Panamera offers a sportier look and power has also been upgraded with it. Panamera facelift now features the previously optional sport front end as standard, with air intake grilles larger side-air intakes. At the rear part, Panamera got a continuous light strip that stenches across the boot lid connecting the Two LED taillights with it. Although in the GTS variant it gets a darker strip light to signify more power over the standard variants. It offers 4 variants, RWD Panamera, GTS, Turbo S, and Turbo S E-hybrid.
The entry-level RWD Panamera derives power from a 2.9 liters V6 twin-turbo engine producing 330 HP of maximum power and 450 Nm of peak torque. While the GTS Panamera gets a twin-turbo 4.0 liter V8, which belts out 480 HP of power and 620 Nm of torque. The major highlight of the facelift Panamera is the addition of the Turbo S variant which Is powered with a 4.0 liter twin-turbo V8 which rated at 630 HP of maximum power and, complete 0-100 Kmph sprint in just 3.1 seconds. Turbo S variant Panamera has a top speed of 315 Kmph. Porsche Panamera has further added an earlier variant which was discontinued, the Turbo S E-hybrid variant. That said variant took power from 571 HP, 4.0-liter twin-turbo V8 paired with an electric motor that develops 136 HP of power and mated with an 8-speed Dual-Clutch transmission system, which sends power to all wheels.
2021 Porsche Panamera facelift priced starts from Rs 1.43 crore for the RWD entry-level variant, Rs 1.86 core for GTS variant, Rs 2.12 crore for Turbo S variant, and Rs 2.43 crore for Turbo S E-hybrid variant. Porsche also launches 10 years edition model of Panamera on completing a decade of sportiness. On the other side, the special edition variant also features comfort and refined chassis compared with other variants. A few special editions have already reached to select dealerships in India. 2021 Porsche Panamera facelift rivals the likes of, Mercedes-AMG G63 4-door coupe, BMW 8 Series Gran Coupe, and Audi RS7 Sportback.
