The Czech carmaker Skoda has today revealed the Sketch of the interior of its upcoming hatchback 2021 Skoda Fabia, from the sketches one thing can be easily said that the new interior will look far different from the older version of the Skoda Fabia. The sketch revealed looks quite inspired by its other cars like the Skoda Scala hatchback and the crossover Skoda Kamiq.
The design of the new 2021 Skoda Fabia looks more stylish and sportier than its predecessors, with a wide upgradeable infotainment system which, if going by the leaks can be upgraded from a 6.8-inch touchscreen display to a bigger 9.2-inch touchscreen display. Another eye-catching thing from this design is the sporty-looking steering wheel, which is a 2 spoke steering wheel that also consists of multimedia controls.
Apart from these features, the Fabia consists of some basic design like, the rounded side AC vents, AC vents on the centre console, followed by some basic HVAC control, mechanical handbrake which to be frank looks outdated compared to the electric parking brakes which are used in recent cars. The car also gets a fully digital instrument cluster, however, this feature is only applicable to the top-end variant, while the other variants will have to do with the standard analogue console with a centred MID. The car also gets safety features like 9 airbags and an ISOFIX child mount feature for the passenger seat at the rear.
Talking about the external changes, the new 2021 Skoda Fabia will now be measuring 4,107 mm in length, 1,780 mm in width, 1,460 mm in height with a large wheelbase of 2,564 mm, from the dimensions the new Fabia look a bit bigger than its older model, however, the heigh of the older model seems to be a bit more than the 2021 Fabia.
The car will also be provided with a variety of engine options to choose from like the 1.0-litre naturally aspirated petrol engine, 1.0-litre turbocharged petrol engine and a 1.5-litre turbocharged petrol engine. The 2021 Skoda Fabia will be making its debut in early MAY as planned by the company.
