Volkswagen has launched their new turbo Edition of Polo and Vento in Comfortline trim. While polo becomes the most affordable Turbocharged petrol car along with, recently launched Nissan Magnite. Erstwhile, the Volkswagen polo offered in Trendline, Comfortline, Highline plus, and GT line. While Vento was offered in Trendline, Comfortline, Highline, and Highline plus trim. The Polo TSI Turbo Edition comes with Comfortline trim and has been priced at Rs 6.99 lakhs, becomes the most affordable turbo vehicle in the Indiana market along with Nissan Magnite.
New Polo turbo is about Rs 1.35 lakhs cheaper as compared with the previously most affordable Turbo trim Highline Plus variant. On the other hand, Volkswagen Vento has received a new base trim in the turbo Edition form, which is priced at Rs 8.69 lakhs (ex-showroom), which means it is Rs 40,000 cheaper than the previous Base trim trendline that is currently being retailed at Rs 9.09 lakhs (ex-showroom). 2021 Polo and Vento’s new TSI turbo edition also gets an enhancement inside out. New vehicles get a new glossy black rear spoiler, new seats cover, Turbo badge at rear Boot structure, black ORVM caps, and so on in 2021 Volkswagen polo Vento.
The alloy wheels were borrowed from the donor variant, and are smaller in size as compared with Top-end trims. The turbo edition also gets an automatic climate control function. That being said the previous Comfortline trim has been over. Another offering with turbo editions is, flat-bottom steering, Bluetooth enabled music system, height-adjustable driver’s seat, dual frontal airbags, ABS with EBD, power windows, and rear parking sensors. The Polo and Vento powered with a 1.0 liter inline 3-cylinder Turbocharged petrol engine, which develops 110 PS of maximum power and 175 Nm of peak torque when mated with a 6-speed manual gearbox system, this engine is offered as a standard for Vento trim line. The Polo also offers a 1.0 liter naturally aspirated engine which belts out, 76 PS of power and 95 Nm of torque.
