2021 Volkswagen most affordable TSI polo Comfortline TSI launched in the Indian market, priced at Rs 7.41 lakh.

Volkswagen Motors India has added a new variant in their premium hatch-back Polo Indian line-up before the launch of the New-Generation Polo. The New trim is added at the Comfortline base trim. The 2021 Polo Comfortline TSI now priced from Rs 7.41 lakh for the non-metallic paint scheme and Rs 7.51 lakh for the Metallic paint scheme (Ex-showroom), making it the most affordable Turbocharged petrol variant in the Polo Line-up.
Previously, the Comfortline offered with a 1.0-liter MPI petrol engine, as of now the Comfortline, Highline Plus, and GT variants come with a 1.0 Liter TSI engine as well. Although, the most affordable turbo petrol engine from the Polo line-up is now discontinued, and it was priced at Rs 6.99 lakhs, while the new 1.0 Liter 3-cylidner TSI engine priced from Rs 7.41 lakh. The polo Comfortline TSI comes equipped with a 2-Din audio system, Manal AC, power windows, 15-inch alloy wheels, central locking, and halogen headlamps. As for safety, it gets dual airbags, rear parking sensors, ABS with EBD, and ISOFIX child mounting.
Volkswagen Polo Comfortline trims now offered with two engine options, a 1.0 Liter three-cylinder MPI petrol engine, which develops 76 PS of power and 95 Nm of torque and comes mated with a 5-speed manual transmission gearbox system. And 1.0-liter three-cylinder turbocharged petrol engine, that rated at 110 PS of power and 175 Nm of torque. It can be paired with either a 6-speed manual or an optional 6-speed torque converter. In India, the price range for polo starting from Rs 6.16 lakh for trendline and goes up to Rs 9.99 lakh fop end GT trim. Upon arrival the polo rivals with the likes of Maruti Suzuki Baleno, Tata Altroz, Hyundai I20, Toyota Glanza, and Honda Jazz. Among the rivals, Hyundai I20 and Tata Altroz feature the 1.0 Liter Turbocharged petrol engine, the former gets 1.0 L and the latter gets 1.2 L.
