2021 Volkswagen Polo GTI official design sketches revealed ahead of its debut in coming months globally, and likely to power with same 2.0 Litre TSI engine.

Volkswagen Global recently launched the facelift variant of Polo in the international market, with subtle changes inside out. The changes include some new safety features, few visual enhancements, as well as autonomous driving capability. Now the manufacturer has revealed the official sketches of the upcoming 2021 Volkswagen Polo GTI facelift, which shows most of the exterior changes. The Polo GTI is expected to debut soon in early next month and positions as the flagship model from the hatchback segment line-up.
The official sketches of Polo GTI reveal that the new facelift model will be sharper looking compared with the ongoing GTI model and have some slight changes on the front fascia and rear. That being said, the GTI features almost the same changes as seen in the recently launched polo facelift. As seen in Sketches the GTI features a LED strip integrated on the lower bonnet with a larger honeycomb air intake. 2021 Polo GTI will be built on the same MQB A0 platform same as the Polo facelift, Skoda Kushaq, and more vehicles from the brand.
The 2021 Volkswagen Polo GTI engine specifications are yet to be revealed by the manufacture, although it is expected that GTI will continue to powered with the same 2.0 Litre MK7 golf’s GTI turbocharged engine, which belts out 197 HP of maximum power output and 320 Nm of peak torque. The powertrain of the outgoing model comes paired with 6-speed DSG as standard and can sprint from 0 to 100 Kmph in just 6.7 seconds. While GTI expected to feature – new 17-inch alloy wheels as standard and optional 18-inch wheels. However, the 2021 Polo GTI won’t be coming to the Indian market anytime soon.
