Few spy shots revealing the key features of the 2022 Mercedes Benz C-class interior are floating on the internet ahead of its launch. The spy shot taken earlier only revealed the basic design of the interior whereas now the spy shot clearly showcases the dashboard and infotainment features. The shots taken are from the 2022 Mercedes Benz C-class AMG line which carries a better and wider heads-up display, a 12.3-inch behind the steering instrument cluster, a huge tablet styled 12.8-inch touchscreen High-Definition infotainment system, and a flat-bottom sporty steering. However, the earlier spied shots didn’t showcase such a huge tablet panel instead showed a smaller screen like the regular C-class, which indicates that the top-spec variant will be getting a bigger and better screen whereas for all the other variants the car will carry the same old normal sized screen with physical HVAC controls.
With the emission norms getting stricter all around the world, the 2022 Mercedes Benz C-class will also be getting some mild-hybrid variant engine which will be powered by small batteries along with the normal engines. So, taking a look at these changes the car will be available in 3 variants with the first one being a mild-hybrid engine, second, being a plug-in hybrid engine providing upto 315PS of power and 650Nm of peak torque, moreover, the AMG variant will also be suffering from these norms and will be downsizing to a smaller 2.0-litre petrol hybrid engine.
The car is expected to make its global appearance on 23rd February 2021 and will be available to be sold after a few months in some first-world countries. And for the Indian audience, this car will be available till the end of this year. The car will be competing against the like of BMW 3-Series, Audi A4 and recently updated Volvo S60.
