Audi India has finally launched its first electric SUV E-Tron in the Indian market, priced at Rs 9.99 lakh ex-showroom, and offered in three variants.

Audi India has today announced the launch of its much-anticipated electric SUV E-Tron in the Indian market, with a price range starting at Rs 99.99 lakh. The Audi E-Tron is offered in three variants 50, 55, and Sportback 55, the middle variant priced at 1.16 crore and the top end variant priced at Rs 1.17 crore. The launch of e-Tron has been much anticipated electric vehicle due to various reasons like many luxuries brand has already launched its electric SUV in the Indian market like Mercedes-Benz EQC and Jaguar I-Pace.

The electric SUV E-Tron comes powered by two battery options 71 KWh and 95 KWh. The former generates 313 HP of maximum power and 540 Nm of peak torque, the latter develops 408 HP of maximum power and 664 Nm of peak torque. While talking about the driving range the smaller battery can be driven between 264-379 Km and the latter one can drive 359-484 km in a single charge. The 71 KWh battery variant sprint from 0 to 100 in just 6.8 seconds and the 95 KWh can cover in just 5.8 seconds. The electric SUV can be charged with two charging – 11 KW compact portable chargers and the other is wall mounted AC charger at home without any additional costs.
As for the dimension electric SUV measures 4901 mm in length, 1935 mm in width, 1616 mm in height, and 2928 mm of wheelbase in length. The manufacturer also added a complimentary charging option at select dealerships and some showrooms are also fitted with 50 KW fast chargers in a phased manner. All the variants are equipped with both AC and DC charging ports. The Top variant E-Tron 55 and 55 Sportback can be charged with up to 150 KW charger and the entry-level can be charged up to 120 KW charger. The Audi E-Tron competes against the Mercedes-Benz EQC, Jaguar I-pace. All the EV currently brought in-country through the CBU route. The bigger battery 95 KWh can be had with 55 and Sportback 55, while the base 50 is powered by a smaller 71 kWh battery pack.
