With the start of the month of December, sales data from the previous month is flowing in from everywhere. The most interesting of these data are the Top-selling cars from the previous month. Even if you are a person that doesn’t have much knowledge about the industry, you would be well aware of how big MSIL (Maruti Suzuki India Limited) is. And it would be safe to say that you will be knowing the dominance of MSIL in the sales market. Let’s now look at the best-selling cars of November 2020
The most obvious car from the list The Maruti Suzuki Swift still shine upon others showing its dominance like always. Swift remains unmoved from the 1st position like every other month. With the sales figures of 18,498 units sold in the previous month. This car has shown a decline in sales compared to November 2019 of about 4.5 per cent.
On the 2nd rank, we have the twin brother of the Toyota Glanza, The Maruti Suzuki Baleno with 17,872 units sold in the month of November 2020. Although, both the cars are identical in every aspect the Glanza is nowhere to be seen. Is the reason only the brand value or the old thinking of tata being only good for heavy load-bearing vehicles?
The evergreen Maruti Suzuki WagonR stands tall at the 3rd position with 16,256 units sold in November. Although, the car has a bad aerodynamic shape and 0 safety rating but it still outsells the major brand’s best-selling cars.
Another hit coming from the ancient times is the Maruti Suzuki Alto. The car that hasn’t got any facelift or any sort of upgrades from don’t even know how long. But this car manages to outshine all the new cars.
- Maruti Suzuki Dzire
It can also be said as the sedan version of the best-selling Maruti Suzuki Swift that stands at number 1 position. The car sold 13,536 units in this November. Dzire is also the best-selling sub-4-meter sedan of the year. The Maruti magic doesn’t seem to wear off in any segment.
Selling a total of 12,017 units this November is the first entry of the Hyundai brand, the Hyundai Creta. This car still remains the king of sub-4-meter SUVs. This is the sector from where Maruti Suzuki doesn’t seem to know what to do.
The only KIA car in the top 10 rankings is the KIA Sonet. KIA is slowly but steadily gaining popularity for its feature-rich cars. And standing at the 7th position for November 2020 car sales with 11,417 units sold. Although, Sonet is number 2 in the SUV ranking and is setting many sales records.
- Maruti Suzuki Eeco
With yet another Maruti Suzuki car we have at the 8th position the Maruti Suzuki Eeco with selling 11,183 units this November. Although this car pack so very less safety and comfort feature that won’t even notice it if you blink. However, this car doesn’t have any competition in this segment and you would notice this car running everywhere on the roads.
The second Hyundai entry in the top 10 is the Hyundai Grand i10 Nios with 10,936 units sold this November. The Hyundai Grand i20 nios has always seen decent sales figure.
- Maruti Suzuki Ertiga
At the 10th position, we yet again have the Maruti Suzuki brand concurring this chart with its last entry the Maruti Suzuki Ertiga with selling 9557 units this November. Ertiga is for the audience who wants an MPV in a decent budget. The Maruti Suzuki Ertiga is the most sold MPV in India although it isn’t a full-sized MPV, however it comes in CNG and optional AMT as well.
