Hyundai 7-seater Alcazar teased in a 37 Second video – Exterior reveal

Hyundai 7-seater Alcazar teased in an official video ahead of its launch with heavy camouflage, powered with the same powertrain as Creta.

Hyundai Motor India Limited has given us a sneak peek of its upcoming 7-seater SUV Alcazar in video with heavy camouflage on its official YouTube channel, ahead of its global debut. Hyundai Alcazar will go on sale in the middle of the year 2021. Hyundai officials also stated that the Alcazar 3-row version of Creta has been tested over many different types of roads, rough roads, highways, and hilly terrain. The manufacturer also stated that it has surpassed extreme challenging weather conditions as well “to ensure fortress is built to last longer”.

The 37 seconds teaser video shows the presence of the 17-inc diamond-cut alloy wheels, C-pillar to accommodate 3rd-row adjustment, LED headlamps, LED DRLs, LED taillights, grey roof rails, chrome finish front grille, differently styled C-pillars with longer roof rails, longer passenger doors, front end-reminiscing the Creta 5-seater Spilt LED headlamps and a redesigned rear profile. The Hyundai Alcazar will be offered in 6-seater and 7-seater configurations, while the captain seats in the 2nd row for 6-seater and bench seat for the 7-seater configuration set up. Other, the seating arrangement the features could remain the same as the Creta. Although, Alcazar could get a new theme and could undergo trim updates as well.

As for the powertrain Alcazar powered with the same engine option as 5-seater SUV sibling Creta. The Hyundai Creta offered in 1.5 Litre 4-cylinder NA petrol, 1.5 Litre 4-cylidner turbo oil burner, and a 1.4 Litre 4-cylinder turbo petrol engine options. The sole turbo diesel develops 115 PS of power and 250 Nm of torque, while the regular petrol engine generates 115PS/144Nm. The powerful turbo petrol engine rated at 140PS/242Nm and the engines are paired with standard manual transmission and an optional automatic gearbox system.
