Hyundai Alcazar will be making its debut tomorrow on 18th June 2021 and with it, the company will be revealing all its specifications and feature list, while the design and some basic info. Has already been revealed by the company officially in many instances. But the most awaited reveal will be of its pricing and this price will also determine how the car will be performing in the Indian market as the Indian audience is very price-conscious however it has been leaked. The three-row SUV will be available in both 6- and 7-seater variants, the standard 7-seater variant will be consisting of the normal bench shaped middle row, while the 6-seater variant will consist of 2 captain chairs for the middle row and will only be available in higher variants.
Talking about the price, the Hyundai Alcazar will clearly be placed above the current best-selling car, the Hyundai Creta and if going by the leaks the new Alcazar will be priced ranging from Rs. 11.5 lakh for the base variant and will be going up till Rs. 21 lakhs for the top-end variant.
The new Alcazar will be available in two engine variants, the first being the 2.0-litre 4-cylinder naturally aspirated petrol engine which can generate up to maximum power of 159 PS with maximum torque up to 192 Nm and the other being a 1.5-litre 4-cylinder U2 diesel engine which can generate maximum power up to 115 PS and maximum torque of 250 Nm.
These engines will be mated with a standard 6-speed manual transmission with an optional 6-speed torque converter automatic transmission gearbox, which can take up the car from 0-100 in just below 10 seconds. Similar to every Hyundai car in the market, the new upcoming Alcazar will also be available in a variety to feature variants like Signature, Signature (O), Prestige, Prestige (O), Platinum and Platinum (O) grades cumulating to a total variant counts to 18.
