Hyundai has released the first teaser of its brand new Hyundai Staria ahead of its launch which will be happening in a few weeks from now. Hyundai Staria will be replacing its earlier MPV Hyundai Starex in the global market, however, will this car be coming to India or not that is still unknown and seeing the features and the expected cost the car most likely won’t be featured in the Indian market.
Taking a look at the teaser one can only suggest that Hyundai has experimented with the looks of the Staria and produced some futuristic-looking results. Talking about the designing of the car, the Hyundai Staria gets a unique angular shape that tapers towards the front and boxy towards the rear. For the front facia, the car gets a huge front windshield, a unique front light bar that runs front one end to another, a huge front grille with chrome highlights, and a couple of weird-looking boxy rectangular LED headlamps. For the rear, the car gets a couple of large taillights running from the roof al the way to the bumper.
The teaser also reveals some bits of the interior and speaking in detail the Hyundai Staria gets a centre mounted touchscreen which will be acting as an infotainment system as well as a gear changing screen, other than that the car gets a dual-tone interior and many other basic features. For the rear, the Staria will be getting 2 captain seats for more comfort, although, the lower variants will be getting the standard bench seats.
Talking about the powertrain option, much isn’t known about this MPV but the most expected engine that will be installed in the car will be the same as the Hyundai Tucson’s engine, however, if the car will be available in petrol or diesel is also unknown and will most likely be depending upon the market the car is sold in.
