News Broke a few days back that Hyundai is planning to launch their Sub-brand N-line performance in the Indian market starting off with Hyundai I20 N-line, below are some expected engine options and features that India-bound I20 N-line will offer.

While the Indian model I20 N-line yet to be revealed by the brand, let’s take a look at what the Europe-Bound I20 N-line offers. The Euro-Spec N-line offered in 2 drivetrain option, 1.2 Litre inline-4 cylinder naturally aspirated petrol engine, which belts out 84 PS of maximum power and 116 Nm of peak torque, and mated with the standard 5-speed manual transmission system. The second engine option is a 1.0 liter inline-3-cylinder turbocharged petrol unit, which is offered in two states of tunes. The lower tune 1.0 liter rated as 100 PS of power and 172 Nm of torque. It is can be a choice between a 6-speed manual, 6-speed iMT, and 7-speed DCT.
In the higher tune, the 1.0-liter petrol unit burns out, 120 PS of power and 172 Nm of torque, and comes paired with two transmission options, 6-speed iMT and 7-speed DCT. Opting for the 6-speed iMT brings you a 48V mild-hybrid system which helps further improving the fuel economy. The I20 N-line offers an all-black theme interior with red stitching and N-badging. The car also offers a leather-wrapped steering wheel and gear nob. Just like regular new generation I20, N-line also features, 10.25-inch infotainment, along with a 10.25 TFT instrument cluster, the Blue link connected car technology, and many driving assist tech.
The N-line model gets a stiffer suspension set up along with tweaked steering and exhaust system. As for the exterior changes, I20 N-line gets a black grille with a flag meshed pattern, with an N line badging on it. It also gets redesigned bumper, aerodynamic side skirts, Diffusers, and chrome-tipped twin exhaust outlets. There are four color options you get, phantom black, Aurore grey, brass, and polar white, and a standard blackout roof with 17-inch machine-cut alloy wheels. In India expected launch for N-line I20 could be Mid-2021, as it has been seen multiple times on the Indian roads for testing. The expected price range starts from Rs 12 lakhs (ex-showroom, Pan India).
