Kia Sonet Compact-SUV for Saudi Arabia is more powerful and longer than that of the Indian-Spec version.

Kia Motors India made a strong impact in the Indian market, since its debut the Korean manufacturer are gaining good sales volume. The Debut car from the brand is Mid-Size Seltos, which gets a lot of buzz in the market. After seltos, the brand launched their MPV carnival which also gets decent response from the buyers. Last year the manufacturer enters the most crowded compact-SUV segment with Sonet. The Five-Seater SUV rivals Maruti Suzuki Vitara Brezza, Hyundai Venue, Ford EcoSport, Mahindra XUV300, and so on. Currently, 9 compact SUV has been offered in the Indian market to choose from. In Saudi Arabia, the Kia Sonet has a length of 4,120 mm, although it sticks to the 4m marks in the Indian market for tax benefits. This goes only to the bumper mark for the additional length and no interior changes have been made.
The main reason for the Sonet to Top the sales list is the multiple powertrain options and Multiple transmission systems to choose from. The Kia Sonet powered with a 1.5 Litre naturally aspirated petrol engine which generates 115 PS of power and 144 Nm of torque, which can also be seen in Seltos. It is paired with a 6-speed manual transmission as standard and an optional 6-speed CVT automatic transmission system. In India, Sonet offers a 1.2 l naturally aspirated petrol, 1.5 Litre diesel, and 1.0 Litre turbo petrol engine. The notable change between Saudi and Indian Spec Sonet is the brand goes for an 8-inch infotainment system for Saudi and 10.25-inch infotainment for the Indian-Spec Sonet, other features list remains the same as Indian-Spec.
Some of the highlights of the Sonet are Ambient lightning, Single electric sunroof, Automatic Climate control, wireless charging, six airbags, Multi-functional Steering wheel, Steering mounted controls, Cruise control, parking sensors, black claddings over the structure, and so on. The Kia Sonet also retails in the global markets and in comparison, with Indian-Spec other market specification are more powerful and more practical compared with what the brand offers in India. It is done mainly to reduce costs of production and due to more competition, aggressive pricing is the main reason that can be seen.
