Mahindra Homegrown brand has released their March 2021 sales figures. Currently, brand has 6 SUVs in their Indian Line-up.

Mahindra and Mahindra Homegrown SUV expert manufacturer recorded a massive positive sales growth of 427 percent last month, courtesy of newly launched off-roader Thar. Mahindra Thar was launched last year and since the launch, the popularity and the bookings have been huge, along with a massive waiting period for the vehicle. Currently, the waiting period for the vehicle is around 30 weeks, while the production has been doing in multiple shifts a day, still, the waiting period is so huge. Mahindra and Mahindra rank at fourth in overall best-selling car manufacturers in the Indian market.
Mahindra and Mahindra recorded a total cumulative sale of 16,700 units against 3,171 units were sold by the brand in the same period last year on March 2020, with getting massive 427 percent positive year-on-year sales growth. Also, with the positive growth, the brand market share has almost doubled compared with March 2020. For last month the manufacturer has a domestic market share of 5.2 percent against 2.3 percent in March 2020. In Feb 2021, Mahindra retailed 15,380 units of cars resulting in MOM sales positive growth of 9 percent in March 2021. As of now, Mahindra’s Indian line-up consists of 6 SUVs, Thar, XUV300, Scorpio, bolero, Marazzo, XUV100 as well as flagship SUV Alturas G4.
Mahindra also planning on launching the new generation version of their SUVs like XUV500 and Scorpio. As per reports, New-Gen of Scorpio will be launching on June 2021 and the New-Gen of XUV500 will be debuting on September 2021, along with deliveries expected to be starting from November 2021. Recent, test mules on road with heavy camouflage reveals some features like the car comes equipped with R17 alloy wheels, roof rails, bigger Screens, steering mounted control, wood trim on the dashboard, front Hand rest, rear spoiler, LED Headlamps, and LED tail lights with high mounted stop lamps.
