The same goes for the Earlier introductory price for the new Mahindra Thar which is getting a price hike starting this 1 December. The car is always stayed in news for every known reason and so goes for its sales. The has performed so impressively in sales that it has been declared sold out for the year 2020. The price hike of the Mahindra Thar from December 1 is still unknown.
Right now, the base variant for the Thar petrol AX trim is priced around Rs 11.90lakh and for the higher-spec LX trim the prices ranges between Rs 12.49-13.75lakh. Although, the official price hike amount is still unknown and the news is expected to be launched on 1 December. These price hike will not affect is any way to the customers who have booked the car before 1 December.
The company is right now struggling to keep up with the demand with waiting period still revolving around 6-7 months. To counter this huge demand company has promised to ramp up the production from 2000 units per month to 3000 units per month.
New Mahindra crash score
The all-new Thar has again been the centre of the limelight with its top-notch crash test rating provided by the Global NCAP. Lately, the car has been awarded an overall four-star rating by the Global NCAP. The scores separately for both adults and child occupancy are 4-4 so as the rating, telling by the test report provided by the Global NCAP the car is said to have sufficient safety for head and neck for both the driver and passengers. However, the protection for the chest part of the passenger was rated good and adequate for the driver. As for 18-month old occupant, the protection was rated fully and for a 3-year-old child, the rating was good.
