Mahindra XUV300 report 100% positive sales growth in Nov 2020

Mahindra manages to sell more than 4,000 units of XUV300 last month. XUV300 emerged as the 5th best selling compact-SUV in the Indian market last month.

The Mahindra motors limited cars report the safest cars along with tata motors limited vehicles by global NCAP. XUV300 one of the Mahindra products currently on sale in the Indian market branded, as the safest car by global NCAP under the #saferscarsforindia campaign. XUV300 rated with a 5-star rating for adults as well as child occupants. Along with the safety, XUV300 performs decently in the Indian market last month with more than 4,400 units were sold last month. Which emerges XUV300 as the 5th best-selling compact-SUV last month.

As being said XUV300 100% positive sales growth, as against in the same period last year November 2019, where only 2,224 units were sold. This is the highest year-on-year positive sales growth by the vehicle in the compact SUV segment. Mahindra currently offers XUV300 in 2 powertrains option. A 1.2-liter four-cylinder turbocharged petrol engine, which generates 110 Ps of maximum power and 200 Nm of peak torque. And a 1.5-liter diesel engine or oil burner which produces 116.6 PS of maximum power and 300 Nm of peak torque.

As for the gearboxes, Mahindra offers a standard 6-speed manual transmission system for both petrol and diesel engine. With this Mahindra offers an optional 6-speed automatic gearbox for diesel engines only. XUV300 comes packed with features like, android auto, apple car play, electrically adjustable wing mirrors, 7-inch infotainment system, rain-sensing wipers, electric sunroof, push start and stop button, and more premium features. On the safety side, XUV300 includes ABS with EBD, tire pressure sensors, 7-airbags, four-disc brakes, rear parking camera and sensor, front sensors, Hill-start assist, etc.

Mahindra currently retails XUV300 at a starting price of Rs 7.94 lakh and for top-spec variant Rs 12.29 lakh (ex-showroom New Delhi). XUV300 rivals with the likes of, Kia sonet, Maruti Suzuki Vitara Brezza, Hyundai venue, Ford Ecosport, Toyota urban cruiser, Tata Nexon, and newly launched Nissan Magnite. Also, XUV300’s new rival will be launching soon by Renault motors India, named Renault Kiger which will also be on the same platform as Nissan Magnite.
