Maserati Ghibli 2021 launched with a price tag of Rs 1.15cr

The Maserati Ghibli 2021 has been launched with a starting price of Rs 1.15cr and also comes in a total of 6 variants with the top variant Trofeo pricing at Rs 1.93c ex-showroom Delhi. The new Ghibli gets various upgrades to the previous model which are discussed below. Moreover, the car also gets a V8 engine and first-ever electric hybrid made by the company.

The new Maserati Ghibli stands just below 4970mm with a 1635mm width with 5 seating capacity. The car also can hold upto 501-litre of boot volume.

As for the design the new Maserati Ghibli 2021 get a redesigned grille and taillights, the also get variant-specific highlight colours like blue highlights on the side vents and front brake fenders, and for the stitching inside. Other than that, the Troteo V8 version gets a red highlight at the same places like the hybrid and along with this, some additional features like vents on the bonnet, sportier grille, and minor tweaks to the front bumper.

For the inside, the new Ghibli gets an upgraded HD infotainment system of 10.1-inches with Android Auto, Apple CarPlay, Amazon Alexa, and also get Maserati connect technology which enables the user to remotely access the various feature by their smartphones.

The new Ghibli comes in 3 engine types (petrol only) – 2.0-litre mild hybrid engine, 3.0-litre V6 engine, and a 3.8-litre V8 engine.

The 2.0-litre mild-hybrid engine is powered by an additional 48V battery that is located under the boot of the car, which in total can produce upto 330hp of power and 450Nm of torque. Which can boost the car from 0-100 in mere 5.7 seconds.

The 3.0-litre engine is a more familiar engine for the brand and is also similar to the Ghibli S which can produce 430hp of power and 580Nm of peak torque. But then this also looks tiny in front of the Ferrari inspired 3.8-litre V8 engine which produces upto 580hp of power and peak torque of 730Nm. This much power will be boosting this car from 0-100 in mere 4.3 seconds. All these variants come with a single 8-speed automatic transmission gearbox.
