MG has revealed digital renders of its all-new two-door electric sports car concept, MG Cyberster ahead of its world premiere scheduled for 31st March. Interestingly this bad boy will be rocking a gamming cockpit, which is a first in segment design, not only that the MG Cyberster will also come with connected car technology to monitor and remotely control your car via your mobile phone, along with 5G connectivity to give a seamless performance with minimal latency.
Talking about the design the MG Cyberster drives its inspiration from convertible yesteryear’s MGB Roadster can be assumed as a modern version of it. Although, the teaser doesn’t reveal much about the car, however, the things that can be noticed from the teaser are the sloping nose with sleek dark colour air intakes giving the car a futuristic approach, massive wheels with a close clearance which gives the car a better aerodynamic spread, well-sculpted sheet metal body frame, a jet-like tail design which gives a retro but highly polished look and also improves the aerodynamic flow design.
Everything else about the car still remains a mystery however, the things that been revealed by the company are its all-electric powertrain type which will generate enough power to produce a mileage of 800 km on a single charge, and with a 0-100 sprint time of 3 seconds. Other details about the car will be further revealed at the global launch of the car.
No news has been disclosed by the company about the production type of the car, however, our best guess is that the car will be produced as a limited edition with a number of a few hundred productions which proves the company’s versatility in the market.
For many obvious reasons, this car won’t make it to the Indian market, although the company is planning to introduce the ZS petrol variant which on entering the Indian market will become the company’s most affordable offering.
