The Ongoing generation of the BMW 5-series was first showcased back in 2016, and to extend the manufacturer has recently launched the Mid-life facelift version of 5-Series. However, the new generation is far away as no test mules have been spotted testing of new Generation. Although, this couldn’t stop the artists to make some new design changes to the expected New-Generation look. Here we have two digitally rendered images of New-Generation 5-Series, which showcased some new design elements on the exterior.
The digitally extracted images show 4-Series inspired bigger grille and, split headlamp cluster with LED DRLs. As per reports, the brand has slowly worked on a new-Generation version of G60. At the tail section the taillights are slimmer, and the salon sports quad exhaust that looks sportier. The Dimensions seem to be bigger than the ongoing version in terms of length and Width. The 2023 BMW 5-Series could offer multiple powertrains including the all-electric and semi-electric versions as well. Diesel engines also are available in limited countries as well, along with mild-hybrid or plug-in hybrid visions.
2023 BMW 5-Series M5 is also be based on the new generation as of now. According to the reports the new-Gen 5-Series could be offered with a V8 gasoline plug-in hybrid and all-electric powertrain. The all-electric version could be powered with a bigger battery pack and have three electric motors which can deliver 1000+ HP of maximum power. No information regarding the interior as of now but it is expected to be luxurious as it should be and more features a rich cabin. As for the exterior, the final production-ready version could be a lot more different than this rendered images we get. The new design would be more futuristic and polarising as the brand likes it that way.
