Hyundai has finally unveiled its much awaited MPV the Hyundai Staria which comes with its unique design and will be replacing its long launched counterpart Hyundai Starex sold globally.
A week ago, Hyundai launched the Staria’s teaser in which some basic outlines of the car were showcased include basic interior and exterior features and no hint of powertrain was unveiled till then. But now Hyundai has revealed all the details of the Staria which includes the basic exterior specifications like a tall cabin, large windshield, wide rectangular grille with chrome highlights and vertically aligned rectangular boxed LED headlamps positioned at each corner of the grille, for higher trims the car also gets a long strip of LED DRLs beside the headlamps and LED pixel taillamps, Staria logo below the grille and unique alloy wheels.
For the higher variants of Hyundai Staria MPV, it gets additional chrome inserts of the front grille, wing mirrors, door handles and it also gets larger 18-inch alloy wheels with an interesting design.
Talking about the interior of the car, as mentioned in the earlier post, the car will be getting a 10.25 inch floating touchscreen infotainment system with Android Auto and Apple CarPlay support, gear change option with buttons on the dashboard, 10.25 inch floating touchscreen fully digital instrument cluster, various storage pockets and much more. the higher end 7 seater variant gets 2 captain seats in the middle row with additional comfort features like one-touch recline seats which will extend itself to distribute the passenger’s body weight to prove him with a much comfier ride.
The new Hyundai Staria MPV will be powered by a 3.5 litre petrol and diesel coupled with an 8 speed automatic transmission system. So, now the question is will this car be coming to the Indian market, well to be precise, the company hasn’t reviled anything about are they willing to bring this car to India or not. And as the company is only focused on SUV production and sales so the later might be the right choice to think.
