New Mahindra Thar SOLD OUT Till May 2021

It has just been a month to the launch of the new Mahindra Thar in October 2020 and since the launch, the new Thar has always been in the news be it negative or positive the news never seems to leave the new Thar. This has resulted in outstanding sales records for this car, and now by this overwhelming response, the New Mahindra Thar is officially sold-out for the next 6 months i.e. till May 2021. The waiting period for the sold-out Mahindra Thar remains at a high of 6-7 months.

To cope up with this astonishing demand the car makers are running their machines at 150% more efficiency to fulfil the demand, and the carmakers have promised to supply 3000 more units every month starting from the next year.

The new Mahindra Thar has gained popularity in a blink of an eye at the time of its announcement only, be it for the regular car buyers or the off-road enthusiasts the car has given everyone plenty of things to talk about.

New Mahindra Thar Specifications

Being the off-road beast doesn’t mean that the car doesn’t pack many features rather this car is feature-packed be it in terms of normal or safety features. Some of these safety features include two front airbags, seat belt reminder, ABS, ISOFIX child seat mount and rear parking sensor.

Now coming to the highlight of the car for which it is known for, its powerful engine. The new Mahindra Thar comes in only two variants fist being the 2.0-litre mStallion150 TGDi petrol engine capable of producing 150bhp of power and 300/320Nm (MT/AT) of torque and second being the 2.2-litre mHawk130 diesel engine that can produce up to 130bhp of power and 300Nm of torque. Each engine comes with an option of 6-speed manual transmission as well as 6-speed torque converter automatic transmission. The car has a mileage of up to 13.0kmpl
