Nissan Magnite sales cross 15k units; company’s highest ever Indian sales mark

Nissan in India was in a pretty rough state before the release of Magnite where nothing was working for the company however since the launch of its new compact SUV Nissan Magnite in December 2020, the sales of the carmaker are thriving at a very significant rate. The Magnite was priced at a super aggressive price as compared to that of its other competitors like Kia Sonet, Hyundai Venue and Maruti Vitara Brezza. The car was even the most affordable SUV for a few months as to give its competition Renault launched the new Kiger which just under the Magnite and was built on the same platform and also had the same specification with different looks.

The end of May 2021, marked the total sales number of the Magnite as just cross 15k and still the waiting list of the car has no ends, still, now some variant of the Magnite have a waiting period extending up to 5-6 months in select cities. The success of the car was not only limited to India but also to other countries where the car was exported like Nepal, Indonesia and South Africa. However, Nepal was where the car shined again, the company booked over 760+ units in just 30 days of launch in Feb 2021.

The company has even increased the production from two shifts to three shifts and have even recruited more workers to boost up the production so that the demands of the car can be met quickly, although neither the demand nor the problem seems to cool down for the company slowing its production rate.

The company has even introduced new subscription plans for all of its car and even for its sub-brand Datsun’s Redi-Go model which allows the customers to lease the car without worrying about any paperwork hassle and any extra costs.
