Nissans first compact SUV has been spotted in camouflage in the wild. The spied image shows quite a few features about the frontal view of the Nissan Magnite comparing to the concept shown on July 16.
What are the similarities of the magnite to the concept?
The leaked image only shows few of the frontal features many of which are similar with only few minor changes. The Magnite features a big octagonal chrome grille, long headlamps and a sculpted bonnet on the other hand, prototype featured regular halogen headlamps and a L-shaped chrome patter on the bumper. it seems that this is a base-spec model, top or mid variants may get LED headlamps and the L-shaped LED DRLs in the bumper. The major change is in the tyres where the prototype came with huge chunky off road tyres whereas in the leaked image the car is having subtle on road tyres.
What are its engine specification?
The Nissan Magnite will be getting a 1.0-litre three-cylinder petrol engine with 72 hp along with 96 Nm torque. And we can also expect a 1.0-litre turbo-petrol engine with 100 hp and 160Nm.
When will it launch?
The Nissan Magnite will be likely be going on sale in India starting from January 2021 and is expected to price the SUV aggressively at around Rs 5.2 lakh for the base variant.
