Nissan Magnite anticipated price range
As the prices accidentally leaked from the LIVE online webinar conducted by Nissan, which stats that the entry level variant XE will come with Rs5.50 lakh ex-showroom and top end XV premium CVT variants come with Rs9.55 lakh ex-showroom. If these numbers happen top be true than with this aggressive pricing by Nissan, Magnite will become most affordable compact SUV in India with undercutting almost every compact SUV offered by mass manufacturer. To put this in a context the top Magnite variant of 1.0L turbo petrol XV premium CVT, at Rs9.55 lakh, is very cheaper than the entry level automatic variant of all brands, barring the AMT equipped tata Nexon XMA.
Magnite turbo petrol version
Nissan Magnite comes with 2 engine option naturally aspirated petrol and Turbo-charged petrol with turbo petrol costs Rs1lakh more compared with the naturally aspirated Magnite version.
Engine and transmission option
As already mention Magnite comes with two petrol engine option, a 72hp 1.0L naturally aspirated engine mated with 5-speed manual gearbox and 1.0L turbo petrol engine, which generate 100hp and 160Nm of torque. It is either comes with 5-speed manual or continuously variable transmission for which torque decay to 152Nm. Nissan Magnite does not consist of any diesel engine option.
Fuel economy and power
Nissan Magnite gets the comparable cylinder coating as the GT-R sportscar, by this context it is more powerful as well as it is fuel efficient as well. Moreover, this engine is claimed to offer 50 percent vivid acceleration as compared with the other naturally aspirated engine used by other brands with the same capabilities.
