Kama-1 is the brainchild of the great saint Petersburg polytechnic university, the project was started back in December 2018. Now it is production-ready for the city run around.

The Kama-1 world’s first Russian Electric vehicle, with a claimed range of 250km in full charge. The three-door run city around is an all-electric smart vehicle and got all the essentials for the production model. The Kama-1 is powered with a 33 kWh battery pack and an 80 kW electric motor. If we talk about the visual looks, it comes equipped with a LED DRLs, sleek headlamps, clamshell bonnet structure, vertically oriented Fog lamps, Thick black housing of the front bumper, etc. other visual looks includes body-colored rearview mirrors, piano black roof, machined cut alloy wheels, thick black cladding around the wheel, black pillars and so on.
The Kama-1 achieved 0 to 100 kmph in just 6.7 seconds. The claimed top speed of Kama-1 is 150 Kmph. It takes 6 hours to fully charge with an alternative charger and it takes just 20 minutes to fully charge with the help of a Direct current charger, and if compare with another electric vehicle it is quite impressive. The Dimensions of the Kama-1 is measures 3.4 Meters in length, 1.7 meters in width, and 1.6 meters in height, and comes with 160 mm of ground clearance. The Russian vehicle said to be having a level 3 driving assistant technology.
The Interior Dashboard boasts a 9-inch infotainment system, android auto, apple car play, 4-inch LED instrument cluster with MID, battery percentage, and leather finish on the dashboard. It has been ensured to handle difficult road conditions of their home market. Like, every country and international car maker going towards the emission-free vehicle, it will be interesting to see how kama-1 performs after the execution.
