Honda cars India limited posted a decent sale last month November 2020. Honda managed to sell 9,990 units as against 6,459 units that were sold in the same period of time last year, getting 55 percent positive sales growth on a year-on-year basis.

- A share price growth of 1 percent compared with last year
- New upgraded products help Honda to boost their sale units
Honda gets great year-on-year growth in sales number, but also get De-growth of 8 percent on a month-on-month basis. Honda sales figures stand for October 2020 was 10,836 units, this though only a small decrease in growth. On the other hand, the brand managed to increase the share price of their passenger products by 3.5 percent which is 1 percent more compared with last year’s November 2020 share price of 2.5 percent. The Honda brand managed to retained its sales chart position at 7th yet again, although most of their competitor brands have shambled more.
Honda managed last month sales were with the help of newly upgraded Honda city BS6, launch in the Indian market which helps brand to increase their popularity amid the buyers. Although, the old-generation Honda city is still on sale in the market helping the brand increase its hold in the Indian market. Other than Honda City Japanese carmaker also introduced the BS6-compliant version of few products also with some cosmetic updates as well, like the WRV, and the jazz.
Honda in this year other than New-generation Honda city hasn’t produced any new products in the Indian market. Having the rumor of Sub-4m compact-SUV in development, which will rival with likes of Maruti Suzuki Vitara Brezza, Kia sonet, Toyota urban cruiser, etc. The Hyundai Creta rival from Honda brand also in making, expected to reveal next year. Honda recently gave a preview of their production version of the Honda Civic, which debuted in the international market in 2022. Along with Honda launched their city hybrid version in the Thailand market with the same specification, 1.5 Litre petrol engine along with 2 electric motors. Newly launched Honda City Hybrid named as City:eHEV rumors suggest that it will also be introduced in the Indian market soon enough.
