Mahindra Scorpio has launched a new Entry-level S3+ with Lacking features compared with the Mid-Spec variant.

Mahindra and Mahindra have added a new entry-Level trim S3+ in their arsenal before the new generation launch in Mid-2021. THE new S3+ trim costs Rs 69,000 lesser as compared with the ongoing S5 base trim. As of now Mahindra retail Scorpio in S3+, S5, S7, S9, and S11 variants, and the Top-end trim S11 is priced at Rs 16.53 lakh (Ex-showroom). It should be clearly understood that the S3+ variant will be losing out some major features and technology compared with Mid-trim S7 or S5. S3+ doesn’t get, Auto door lock function, Side and rear footsteps, rear demister, and so on – Scorpio S3+ launched.
The S3+ trim will be available in seven-seater, eight-seater, or nine-seater configuration and a sky rack can be chosen from the options list. No mechanical changes have been made on S3+ trim, it continues to power with a 2.2 liter 4-cylinder mHawk Oil burner which belts out 120 PS of maximum power and 280 Nm of peak torque – 20 HP and 40 Nm lesser. The transmission duties are performed by 5-speed manual gearbox as standard as opposed to the 6-speed manual gearbox in top trims.
