Tata Gravitas production model unveiled on 26th January 2021

Tata gravitas is currently the most anticipated vehicle from tata motors, alongside a Micro SUV HBX, which production name is Hornbill.

Tata Gravitas has been spotted multiple times on-road testing since, august. Now we have the confirmation that the product specification of Gravitas has been unveiled on 26th January 2021. Also, it is noted that the same strategy was used by Mahindra and Mahindra during the time of the New generation Thar launch. Mahindra and Mahindra debut production-spec model of thar on 15th august 2020, and launched on 2nd October 2020. The launch of gravitas was previously scheduled by the end of this year, but sadly due to lockdown, it has been extended to April 2021. Tata Gravitas expected to be powered by a 2.0-liter turbo diesel engine, and further, it will also available in a 1.5 Litre turbo petrol engine.

Tata_Gravitas looks premium

The Tata Gravitas essentially a 3-row version of tata Harrier, and it is expected to available in both 6 seating and 7 seating arrangement. It is based on an Omega Arc platform, which was taken from the land Rover D8 platform. The exterior and interior design will be the same as the Harrier with some modifications done, at tail lights and a stepped-up roof at the back for more headroom for the third-row passenger. With this, the length of the SUV will increase compared with Harrier but the wheelbase remains the same as the Harrier. Also, the Interior has not been touched will remain as Harrier, with some new leather upholstery option.

Tata Gravitas will be powered with a Fiat 2.0 Litre kyrotec engine, which generates 170 PS of maximum power and 350 Nm of peak torque when mated with a standard 6-speed manual transmission gearbox. Also, have an optional 6-speed automatic transmission gearbox. Further, space is expanding with a 1.5 Litre Turbo petrol engine, which will also be offered in a Tata Harrier.
