Although, compared to last years May sales most of the companies have registered massive sales growth except for Toyota. Interestingly this month’s list of Top 10 best-selling cars is quite unique as compared to every other month, and the company most affected by it is the largest car manufacturer in India, Maruti Suzuki which overall recorded a massive MoM de-growth of 75% and this time only finished with 3 entries in this list. This month Koreans concurred this sales chart with 5 entries on the list and the first being the best-selling car of May 2021 Hyundai Creta which sold 7527 units last month and recorded a YoY growth of 134.3%, while also recording an MoM growth of -39.6%, at the second spot retaining its position we have the best selling hatchback of the month Maruti Suzuki Swift with a sale of 7,005 units last month making a YoY growth of 1073.4% while also making a massive MoM de-growth of -61.7%. At the 3rd spot, we have the Kia Sonet which managed to sell a total of 6,627 units and generated an MoM de-growth of -14.2%.
