Here we have the top 10 Most sold passenger cars in the Indian market in April 2021, out of ten seven models are from Maruti Suzuki.

In the last month April 2021, Maruti Suzuki hatchback Wagon R finished at the first position just above Maruti’s another hatchback Swift, with 18,656 units were sold last month. In the past months, we have seen that the Maruti Swift has gained the top position in the Top 10 list of hatchbacks in terms of sales, but it did not turn out to be the case in April 2021. The Swift recorded 18,316 units and just a few months back it received a minor design and mechanical update. Another hatchback from Maruti finished at third position with 17,303 units last month.

The premium Maruti Suzuki Nexa Baleno finished at fourth position with 16,384 units sold last month, and the hatch competes against Hyundai i20 and Tata Altroz. The Maruti Suzuki Dzire compact Sedan finished at fifth position with 14,073 units sold last month and continues to be the best-selling compact sedan in the Indian market. Hyundai Mid-Size SUV Creta garnered a total cumulative domestic sale at 12,463 units and finished at sixth position, courtesy of second-generation launch last year. Also, Hyundai crossed one million production milestones with SUV in India.
The Hyundai Grand II10 Nios garnered 11,540 units last month and finished at seventh position, while Maruti Suzuki Eeco finished at eighth position with 11,469 units. While, Maruti and Hyundai compact SUV venue and Vitara Brezza, former finished at ninth position with 11,245 units and the latter finished at 11,220 units.
